My Summer Plans (And Why This Season Feels Like a Big One)

Okay, let's be real — summer feels like it snuck up on me this year. One minute I was catching my breath from spring, and the next it's July and I have a running list of goals that keeps growing. But honestly? I love it. This season feels big. Like, really big. And I want to bring you along for all of it.
So grab your iced coffee (or whatever gets you through the heat) and let me walk you through what's on my heart for the rest of the summer.
The Studio Corner is Buzzing
If you've followed me for a while, you know my "studio" is really just my little corner of the living room — and that's been a bigger shift than I expected. I genuinely miss having a dedicated space to create. But this is a season of trading one good thing for something even better, and I've found my groove in that little corner. Honestly? Some of my favorite pieces have come out of it. Life is loud in the background and somehow the work is better for it.
Here's what's on the art agenda:
Finishing a commission drop. I have commissions in progress right now that I am so excited to deliver. Every time I hand a piece off to its person, it still gets me — the idea that something I painted is going to live in someone's home, or be a gift they give someone they love. That never gets old.
A new mini collection drop. You all know I have a serious soft spot for minis. Small canvas, big heart. I'm planning to drop one more collection of minis before summer wraps up, and I already have ideas swirling. Make sure you're on the email list so you don't miss it — those tend to go fast.
Reorganizing my supplies. This one is less glamorous but SO necessary. My corner has reached a level of creative chaos that even I can't justify anymore. A good reorganize means I work better, I find things faster, and honestly, it usually sparks new ideas too.
New ways to connect with you. This is the one I'm most excited to think through. I want to find fresh ways to interact with my customers and community — whether that's through lives, behind-the-scenes content, or something I haven't fully figured out yet. I love that this community has grown into something real, and I want to keep nurturing that.

The Home Front (aka, Operation Sleep Train Isaac)
Let me be transparent with you: I am tired. Like, genuinely, deeply, core-of-my-soul tired.
My son Isaac has never been a sleep-through-the-night kind of baby. He just isn't. And we have loved him through every single wakeup — but friends, mama needs rest. We all need rest. My husband Michael and I have officially decided this is

I'm not going to sugarcoat it — it's hard. It's one of those parenting things where every night feels like a small battle of wills, and you question every decision at 2am. But I know it's going to be worth it. For Isaac, for us, and honestly, for the studio too. A rested Tori paints better. It's just a fact.

Making Room (For Everything That's Coming)
Here's the thing about a two-bedroom house — you get really good at being creative with space. We've made it work and made it home, and now we're about to figure out how to fit even more love into it. That means a serious declutter and deep clean are officially on the summer agenda.
I am talking every drawer, every closet, every "I'll deal with this later" pile that has been quietly judging me for months. We're going through all of it.
Two kids, one studio corner, one very full heart. We've got this.
